PARTNERSHIPS

Jahn partners with the DePaul University School of Music. The partnership is an incredible opportunity for DePaul Music Education students to get hands-on teaching experience all while providing our K-3 students with extra music enrichment. DePaul students come to classrooms to work with classes once a week for 30 minutes in addition to music class.

Additionally, we bring in musical and dance performers throughout the school year as an enrichment experience for all of our students. In the past, these partners have included:

  • Aztec Dance Chicago
  • Puerto Rican Musical Menjunje
  • Legacy School of Performing Arts
  • Jazz Institute of Chicago
  • Lane Tech Majorettes and Drumline Presentation

STUDENT PERFORMANCES

Each year, students display their musical talents at the Spring Showcase in March and Fine Arts and Wellness Festival in May, also known as FAW Fest.
