Mallory Lewis

Hello! My students call me Ms. Lewis. I am a primary teacher here at Jahn. I earned my degree in early childhood education in 2013. I also earned a graduate degree in curriculum and instruction, as well as an endorsement in teaching English as a second language in 2015. I love teaching, learning and growing with young students. 

 

My goal each year is to create a loving and caring environment where each child feels valued, respected and cared for. I truly believe that this is the first step towards authentic learning and growth academically and socially emotionally. My favorite subject to teach is reading, and I especially enjoy guided reading instruction. 

 

The families and community at Jahn are amazing and I love to incorporate families into the classroom whenever I can. Please do not hesitate to reach out or stop by room 209!
