Mary Galvez

Mary M. Galvez (aka Ms. Mary) earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Northeastern Illinois University while also earning a second bachelors’ in art.

As a general education preschool teacher, Mary is enjoying working with Jahn’s youngest students to explore, investigate and learn!

Ms. Mary ponders and reflects, fostering an inquisitive nature. This in turn always cultivates new tactics and strategies adding to those gained through many years as a classroom teacher. Children's participation and risk taking in all learning is encouraged and fostered!

As a team player, Mary collaborates with her professional peers and colleagues. Outside conferences, workshops and university classes further her professional development.

In her “spare” time, Mary enjoys window-shopping, traveling the byways, and the fresh air of spring and autumn.
