B.A. Psychology, Southern Illinois University
M.A. Psychology, University of Massachusetts
M.Ed. Early Childhood/Special Education, UIC

This is my first year at Jahn Elementary School and I am very excited to be here! I am fortunate to be co-teaching this year with Ms. Drewanz in second grade.  This will be my third year teaching. Prior to Jahn, I taught special education at the preschool level.  I have a B.A. in Psychology from Southern Illinois University, an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood/Special Education from UIC. Addtionally, I also recently obtained my English as a Second Language endorsement.  I have had the pleasure of living abroad for an extended time in three foreign countries--Poland, England, and the Czech Republic--and have traveled to many more.

One of the best parts about living in Chicago is Lake Michigan and I love to go for long walks along the Lake as often as I can.  I am really looking forward to contributing positively to second grade and to the greater community of Jahn. I hope to build lasting relationships here!
