Although originally from Wisconsin, I have lived abroad for seven years in countries such as the Netherlands, Honduras, Thailand, and Germany due to a passion and innate curiosity for all human beings, culture, and language. My passion to empower youth led to an international career in education where developing inclusive, equitable, safe, and nurturing educational environments has been paramount. At Jahn, I hope to continue to build meaningful relationships capable of inspiring intercultural leaders in all areas of life by providing the support and opportunities every student deserves.

While abroad, I met my partner from Denmark. Together we lived in Bangkok for several years where I worked as a School Counselor at an international school. We made Chicago our home in 2015 and have since then welcomed two sweet and hilarious boys to the world. When I’m not working, changing diapers, or cleaning up after my kids (and husband), I enjoy spending time with family/friends, learning languages, playing basketball, reading, and traveling. I am looking forward to getting to know you at Jahn and sharing our life stories!
