Dear Jahn Families,

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we implement the District COVID19 protocols. We recognize that this has been a challenging time for all of our families, and want to thank you for your continued support.

COVID19 Testing is available at Jahn every Tuesday, unless the COVID19 tester does not show up for some reason. Sign up to provide consent for your child to get COVID19 tested by clicking here. We cannot test your child unless you provide us with consent. Also, beginning Wednesday, January 19th, you can order free rapid COVID19 test kits through the government at www.covidtests.gov. A total of four test kits can be ordered per household. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity.

Mrs. Moon-Sarudi has organized a vaccination event at Jahn on Thursday, February 3rd from 9:30am - 1:00pm. Please read the event flyers in English and Spanish. The vendor will return 3 weeks later to provide the second dose. All families are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated, and this is a great way to get it done.

Over the weekend, our playground equipment and one of the barricades was vandalized with inappropriate graffiti. Our staff is cleaning it off today. Since this occurred over the weekend, it is possible that the graffiti was done by members of the community, not Jahn students. Thank you for helping to keep our playground clean and safe for everyone. If you see something, say something.

As a reminder, we will continue to hold recess outdoors when the temperature is 20 degrees or higher. Students should dress appropriately to be outdoors for recess.
