Thank You! Jahn Pumpkin Patch

Friends of Jahn would like to express our most sincere gratitude to everyone who came out on such a beautiful day and supported our 9th Annual Pumpkin Patch on Saturday!

Bilingual Advisory Council (BAC) Updates

The BAC is collaborating with teachers to celebrate the cultural tradition of the Day of the Dead. Teachers will be focusing on exploring ways that different cultures honor loved ones who have passed away. Families are invited to bring pictures of loved ones and other traditional items to decorate a community altar on their homeroom’s floor.

Anti-Bullying Campaign

Jahn Elementary School is hosting an Anti-Bullying Campaign on Monday, October 25th through Friday, October 29th.  The theme at our school for the week and year ahead will include the slogan: "Be cool in our school, it's bully-free and so are we." We ask that you take this opportunity to have meaningful conversations with your child or children about bullying.  Please find some tools to help you with this discussion at home.

Principal’s Message

Welcome to our school!
I am so pleased to welcome our new students as well as our returning students. We have made many recent improvements to our campus and we continue to expand our extra-curricular programs to ensure that all students may make the most of their time and explore a broad variety of interests. We believe that parent participation is key to student success; our new website is designed to provide parents with all the information they need to be active participants in their student’s education.

Empowering Creative Thinkers

Our students are the center and soul of our school. At Jahn, we strive to empower them to be lifelong learners and use the arts as communication, creative personal realization, connectors of culture and history, a means to wellbeing, and community engagement.
