Dear Jahn Families,
Chicago Public Schools is requiring all families to submit a COVID19 Attestation Form to verify your understanding of CPS health and safety protocols. Look for a paper version of the form in your child’s backpack and return to your homeroom teacher by Friday, February 11th.
On February 14th, K-4 homeroom teachers will be allowed to host a short friendship party to allow students to exchange messages. Students are not allowed to bring candy or sweets to school. If students would like to bring something, it should be non-edible treats like pencils, etc. Students in grades 5-8 will have a friendship dance on Friday, February 11th from 2-3 in the gymnasium. This event will be organized by our Student Council.
This week is National School Counselor Week! Please join me in thanking our fabulous school counselor, Mrs. Rendleman. She does so much for our school, and provides so much care and support to all of our students. You rock, Mrs. Rendleman!
There is an upcoming CDPH COVID-19 Vaccination Event on Saturday, February 5th & February 26th, 2022 (9AM-2PM) at Truman College (1145 W Wilson Ave).
