Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and enjoyed the Superbowl halftime show as much as I did!
The second session of after school programming (OST) starts on Monday, February 14th. We still have seats available for several of our after school programs, including: Open Studio Art with Ms. Lynch (Thurs. 3-4), Textile Art with Ms. Lynch (Wed-3-4), Choir with Ms. Esquivel (Wednesday's 3-4), Robotics with Mr. Akrabawi (Wed. 3-4) and Movement with Ms. Berrios (Tues. 3-4). We currently do not have enough students signed up for these programs, but we are really close! We also have seats available for girls mentoring with Ms. Rodkey (5-8) and Spanish Club with Ms. Salgado (2-4). If interested in any of these programs, please contact Mrs. Rendleman as soon as possible at [email protected]. Additionally, if you need morning care, we offer a morning reading program M-F from 7-8am for students in grades K-4.
Also, we have our second vaccination event scheduled for February 23rd from 10-1pm. Details are below.

Who: CPS students and their families, staff & community members as well!
What: Vaccination Clinic (1st & 2nd Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccination doses offered). Appointments preferred. Walk-ins will be registered on-site by clinic staff for immediate, same-day vaccination administration.
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm (set up @ 9:30am)
