Dear Jahn Families
Cheers to the start of our new school year. Joy and excitement filled our playground as students and parents arrived to greet each other. The energy on campus speaks to our great year ahead.
We are excited to welcome our returning and new families to Jahn. You are definitely in store for a fantastic year. Our theme for this year is: 3E’s - Educate, Empower, and Engage. In all that we do this year, look for sprinkles of the 3E’s.
Bringing our theme to life involves each staff member doing their part to be present and ready for our students. This happens when we provide continuous opportunities to build community and grow our students to be creative thinkers.
Building community is our top priority this week and throughout the year. I encourage you to take a moment this week to ask your child what they learned about their classmates and their teachers.
Just as a reminder. Please join us on Friday for our first school-wide community building activity. At 8 am, we invite you to participate in our “Face of Jahn” pep rally. Later that afternoon, during dismissal (from 3 to 4 pm), please join us for “Popsicles on the Playground” sponsored by Friends of Jahn.
