Principal Message - August 29th

Greetings Husky Families

The first week of school is under our belts and complete.  What a great week to start off the school year.  We were so excited to welcome students back into the building and to end the week spending time with families during our Faces of Jahn pep rally and Popsicles on the Playground.  Many thanks to our Friends of Jahn (FOJ) for their support.  If you are not part of FOJ, please join them.  They would love for you to be a part of the team.

Teachers spent the first week building community and intentionally getting to know their students.  These steps are essential to empowering creative thinkers.  Throughout this year our plan is to Educate, Empower, and Engage.  What better way to do this than by knowing the whole child.

On behalf of the Jahn family, we would like to thank you for your support during week one.  What you witnessed last week is only the beginning of what’s to come.  Our aim is to continuously build community throughout 3149, which includes you being a part of this process.  We look forward to learning and growing with you.

Please take a moment to check out the updates below.

Have a wonderful week!

Dr. Derrick Kimbrough, Principal
