The book fair will be at Jahn April 24-28

WANT TO HELP AT THE BOOKFAIR?
  • We need volunteers to help students pick out books and run the register when classrooms visit the book fair.

VISITING THE BOOK FAIR IN-PERSON:
  • Your children will have at least two chances to visit the book fair during school hours, once at the beginning of the week to create wish lists and again later in the week to buy their books!
  • The book fair is open to the community, not just Jahn families! 
  • Hours:  Monday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
                  Tuesday: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
                  Wednesday: 7:45 am - 6:00 pm
                  Thursday: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
                  Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
ONLINE FAIR:
TEACHER WISH LISTS:
  • Treat your favorite teachers to a book!
  • Teacher wish lists will be displayed at the in-person book fair.
  • Online teacher wish lists will be shared later this week here 
PAYMENT METHODS: 
  • We accept cash, credit, debit, check, or book fair gift cards. 
GIFT CARDS:
  • You can purchase gift cards for your student instead of sending cash! The gift cards are an easy payment method that won’t get lost in a backpack. Buy them online for use at both our in-person and online fair.
  • Buy a gift card for a teacher! Just click the box “send as a gift” and enter your teacher’s email.

  • Students will be reminded to spend their gift cards before Friday.  Any leftover amounts on gift cards can be saved for future Literati Book Fairs or can be donated to Jahn’s Book Room. 
HELP EVERY KID GO HOME WITH A BOOK!
  • We want to make sure that the cost of a book never keeps our kids from reading! You can help every Jahn student get a new book at the book fair by purchasing a gift card for Friends of Jahn.
  • To purchase a gift card for Friends of Jahn, clink on this link: https://efairs.literati.com/home-new/?school=jahn-elementary-school-chicago-il and click Buy Gift Card.  Select the amount and make sure to click “Send as gift”. Use [email protected] as the recipient email.
  • Any leftover gift card balance for Friends of Jahn will be used to purchase books for the Jahn Book Room.
