Principal Message - October 31st

Greetings Husky Families

Thank you for everything you do to assist us in making Jahn a great place.  It was good to see a number of you last week during parent-teacher conferences.  During that day, I also provided families with my State of Jahn School address.  For those who could not attend, here are the slides:  State of Jahn School Address 10.26.23.  Please reach out if you have any questions.

This week we are saying good-bye to October and hello to November.  With that, we are welcoming our next social-emotional learning (SEL) theme which is Gratitude.  Every day is a day to show gratitude.  This theme, like all other themes, falls in the category of one we can highlight and acknowledge throughout the year.

To assist you in exploring this theme at home, please take a moment to review the following resources:

Reminder | Upcoming Engagement Opportunities
The District is hosting a series of five “State of the District” briefings in the coming weeks that will allow members of our school communities to hear about the District’s current successes and challenges, as well as learn about ways they can get involved in helping shape the District’s next strategic plan. Please feel free to use the language below in your upcoming newsletters or other communications with your families to remind them of these opportunities. You can adjust it as needed based on the meeting locations that are most geographically convenient for your school community.
If you have any questions about these engagement opportunities, please email [email protected].
