Greetings Husky Families
Before we depart for our Fall break, we must take time to embrace Spirit Week. This week our Student Council has a fun-filled week of activities for everyone on campus. Check the lineup for the week:
Monday: Wacky Hat Day (find that wacky hat and wear it well)
Tuesday: Higher Education Day (wear gear in support of a high school or college)
Wednesday: Theme Day (classes will choose the attire for this day)
Thursday: Throwback Thursday (let your clothing take you back in time)
Friday: Dress to Impress (Dress up and have fun)
Throughout the day on Friday, students will also participate in the Fall Ball. Pre-K students will hold their dance in December.
When this week is done, our 1st through 8th graders will leave our campus with progress reports for the 2nd quarter. Time is truly flying this year. Before you know it, we will welcome a new calendar year.
With our students on Fall break next week, I encourage you to take time and relax and enjoy each other. Although I will be working for part of next week, I am excited around what we are working on for the remainder of the school year. This will continue to be a year where we are learnnot only growing students academically, but also building and enhancing our SEL supports for everyone.
