Greetings Husky Families
As we enter the middle of April, I would like to take time to shine some light on last week. On Monday, a majority of our students witnessed the Solar Eclipse, we also spent time Wednesday with families during Report Card pick-up, and a number of voices across the school were partially muted as we participated in the Day of Silence activities on Friday. What a great way to showcase and amplify student voices.
This week, there are a number of activities happening on campus, please be mindful of the following:
- April 16th - 8th grade picture retakes; Sports Dans La Ville visits Jahn
- April 17th - LSC meeting - 4pm
- April 18th - Koffee With Kimbrough - 9 am; Spring pictures (pictures should be prepaid), ABAR - 4:45 pm
- April 19th - Spring Fling; yearbook order deadline
One highlight this week centers around Jahn being selected for a program visit from Sports Dans La Ville. Sports Dans La Ville is a French sports based youth development organization and a partner of Urban Initiatives (our recess vendor). Sports Dans La Ville will lead games and other activities during Tuesday’s entire recess block. We are excited to be selected for this site visit.

Crosswalk Safety: Please assist us in making sure our child is safe. It is important that we do not block any of the crosswalks or stop in the middle of the street during arrival or dismissal. Please assist us in keeping our students safe.
