Principal Message - April 23rd

Greetings Husky Families

As we continue our journey through the month of April, I reflect on the fact that our school year continues to slowly come to an end.  Before that happens, there will be plenty of events happening on campus aimed at keeping you and your children engaged.

This week afforded us the opportunity to celebrate an Earth Day Jam on Monday.  This event allowed various grade levels to showcase artwork and signage connected to preserving Mother Earth, as well as our kindergartners sprucing up the campus.  Many thanks to our classroom teachers and Monthly Celebration Committee through our Jahn Arts Council for bringing this to life.

Last week, we welcomed the opening of our school library.  Students are truly excited about this addition to their schedule.  Students will visit the library weekly.  This week students will also get a chance to visit our book fair, which is happening all week.  Be sure to find out what day your child will attend.

For further details around what’s happening on campus,  I encourage you to review the calendar sent home or our website for additional details.

Have an amazing week.

Crosswalk Safety:  Please assist us in making sure our child is safe.  It is important that we do not block any of the crosswalks or stop in the middle of the street during arrival or dismissal. Please assist us in keeping our students safe.
