The main purposes of public school safety teams are to promote a safe learning environment, manage emergencies, and implement safety policies. They help with crisis management, emergency preparedness, and ensuring the emotional well-being of the school community.
The first initiative of the Safety Team is traffic management. They will be adding support for arrival and dismissal. They are looking for two volunteers each morning and two volunteers each afternoon to bring out the traffic horses to and from their assigned corner. Training will be provided to those who sign up.

If you are not able to volunteer, please do your part to keep our community safe in other ways: do not block crosswalks, be patient and courteous, especially during arrival and dismissal, and do not break traffic laws.
