Hello Jahn and HAPPY DECEMBER!
I hope you all had a safe and joyous fall break. This past week was the longest I have gone since I started at Jahn not seeing our amazing students and staff, and honestly I missed everyone! An empty school is not normal, not natural and absolutely zero fun.. Can you tell I am excited to be back??
Our Green Team Initiative is up and running thanks to the leadership of Ms. Gibrick and support of volunteers. Jahn went from filling 9 bags of landfill/garbage per day to filling only 1 bag because of our composting efforts. More information will be shared with you and your children about how you can make Green Team decisions at your home as well.
Please be mindful of your child’s sleep and health during the business of the holiday season and communicate with us regarding absences or illness. It is also important to get protected this season by getting your COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines.
