Hello Jahn community,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Lunar New Year parade on Friday. What a joy it was! I loved every minute of it, and am so grateful to Ms. Lynch for her leadership with this event.
Thank you to everyone who participated in person and virtually during the LSC candidate forum on Wednesday 2/25. Hearing from our teachers, parents and community members about their connection to Jahn was extremely moving. Thank you for sharing and caring so much about our school.
Report Card Pick Up is on 3/18/26. Parents are welcome for in person and virtual meetings between 11:00-3:00, and 3:45-6:00. Our building will be closed from 3:00-3:45 for teacher and staff break.
Your child’s teacher will reach out no later than this Friday with information on how scheduling will go for their class. If you cannot find a time that works, work with the teacher to check in on another time. It is essential that home, school, teachers and parents work together to set goals and talk about their successes and where they need to focus for the remainder of this school year. It is also important to talk about the social emotional needs of your child - I cannot emphasize enough the connection between these needs and academic goals.
I hope to see many of you at the Annual BINGO night on Friday at the Linda & Bill Gantz Boys & Girls Club. This is a Friends of Jahn sponsored event for all families. I am really looking forward to the fun.
