Hello Jahn families,
Earth Day at Jahn Fine Arts is truly a special event. I cannot thank Ms. Gibrick, Ms. Lynch and Ms. Esquivel enough for so thoughtfully giving our students space for their voice and talents. Once again, I was so impressed by our students!
Progress reports will be distributed on Friday, May 1st which is also a regular school day for students, teachers and staff. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress, please reach out as soon as possible to set up a time to meet with their teachers. This formal communication is essential to keep everyone in the loop and Jahn students on the path for success and growth.
The Friends of Jahn sponsored event Give to Grow is this weekend, May 2nd. This is my first time as a school leader to have the formal support of a “Friends of” organization and am so grateful. It allows me to have conversations about opportunities for kids that start with “let’s do it!” instead of “not this year.” It makes our values and our shared commitments a reality for all of our students. This organization and the volunteers who make it all happen creates a sense of security and fun for our entire community. Thank you in advance to everyone who is able to support the event, and to the FOJ for making it a special night. I can’t wait to see you all there!
