Thank you all for being part of report card pick-up this year! It was great to see many of you in real life and virtually Monday. If you were not able to connect with a teacher on Monday, please reach out directly to them so an alternative time can be arranged.
Halloween exceeded expectations! I loved seeing fellow witches dressed up at our parade! The Spiderman with muscles costume was particularly popular this year. Our Room Representatives outdid themselves with activities, snacks, preparation and clean up. Thank you for being so thoughtful and making the day fun for everyone.
Poppin’ Good Fundraiser begins on November 9th. Please support the Friends of Jahn and our school by selling some treats to friends, families and neighbors. In my experience, aunts and godmothers are good people to hit up with these requests.
HS application deadline is in 2 weeks, Friday, November 13th. Please schedule an appointment with Ms. Torres if you need assistance completing your child's high school application. Please make sure you submit each application completely. The specific application type (guaranteed, choice, or selective enrollment) will have a green border once it's been submitted. You can re-submit/save anytime before the deadline if you want to adjust your list. If you are applying to a school program with auditions, please make sure you submit the application immediately to lock in those audition appointments. Scheduled audition events will be held for one hour. SUBMIT the application within this time to reserve your scheduled event.
Reminder: We have a whole school professional development day on November 11th. There will be no school for students.
