About the LSC

A Local School Council (LSC) serves as the policy-making body of the school. LSCs are an important vehicle for participatory democracy, allowing not only educators, but also parents and the community an opportunity to make important decisions about how their children will be educated.

LSC MEETINGS

LSC meetings are open to the public and adhere to the rules and guidance of the Illinois Open Meetings Act (OMA). Meeting agendas will be posted in advance online and at the school 48 hours before the meeting.

Every meeting offers an opportunity for members of the public to make a public statement. Speakers are limited to 3 minutes.

People may submit questions, concerns and public statements to the LSC via email at [email protected].
