Hannah Harris

My name is Hannah Harris and this is my third wonderful year working at Jahn Elementary School! I’m originally from Australia and I love sharing my experiences from home with my students. After raising my 3 daughters in Japan, where we lived for my husbands job, I think it's important for children to view the world through different perspectives other than their own. Through my teaching, I enjoy challenging my students both academically and emotionally, helping them to build real-life skills that they can use in their future. 

 

When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me watching one of my kids basketball games, walking my Boxer dog Vanilla, or trying to stay fit outdoors. 

 

I love so many things about working at Jahn. I have the most amazing intermediate teaching team, I get to work with cool kids everyday and watch their progression for 2 years while I have them for 4th and then 5th grade, and I'm also a proud member of the ILT team.
