Ian Tambongoco

Hi, I'm lan! I'm a Special Education Teacher with Chicago Public Schools and a Visiting International Teacher (VIT) from the Philippines. Moving from the Philippines to Chicago has been an exciting journey, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to bring my experiences, culture, and passion for teaching into my classroom.

I believe that every student learns differently and deserves to feel valued, supported, and included. I love creating fun and engaging learning experiences that help students build confidence and celebrate their progress big or small. As an educator, my goal is not only to teach academic skills but also to help my students become more independent, confident, and successful in their everyday lives.
