Sarah Chambers

Hello! My name is Ms. Sarah Chambers and I am a Reading Specialist and Interventionist at Jahn.  I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and attended college at Miami University.  After college, I found myself in the Washington DC area where I lived for 15 years and worked for a non-profit.  Around the time I turned 30, I decided that I needed a change and wanted to become a teacher. I got my Master's degree at the University of Virginia and started teaching reading.   In 2018, my husband, two daughters and I moved to Chicago to be closer to family in Indiana. 

In my spare time, I love to read, run, travel and spend time with my family.  I am very passionate about reading and work every day to excite my students about everything books and reading. I love the staff, students and the amazing energy at Jahn and am so happy to be part of it!
