The money raised goes back to our school and will help provide needs such as new books for the library, field trips, and teacher and classroom supplies.
Stay tuned on dates for the school-wide prizes for reaching the following milestone goals:
- $2,500 - Husky Hallway Parade
- $5,000 - Extra Recess!
- $7,500 - Class Movie and Popcorn
- $10,000 - "Stick It to the Principal" and tape Dr. Kimbrough to a wall! Two individual or family fundraising pages will be selected at random to place the first or last tape!
Any student who raised at least $15 will get a free kids scoop from Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. These coupons will go home in backpacks so be on the lookout.
Thank you to Coach Crystal and the Urban Initiatives team for running the event with the help of Friends of Jahn. Thank you to the Diverse Learners Council for providing the very popular quiet corner. Thank you to parent Rene Duquesnoy for providing the awesome music and commentary. And last but not least, thank you to our family volunteers, teachers, and staff who raced the bases and helped with other activities. It was a huge success!
