Our first big fundraiser of the school year, Husky Hustle, is on Friday, September 18th. Let's start things off with a bang! Check out the event details below.
HUSKY HUSTLE 2026
WHO: ALL students will be joining in on the fun. Our recess coordinator, Coach Crystal, and the Urban Initiatives team will run this school day event with the help of Friends of Jahn.

We have some fun school-wide prizes planned for each milestone goal:
- $5,000 - Husky Hallway Parade
- $8,000 - Extra Recess
- $12,000 - Class Movie and Popcorn
- $15,000 - Principal and Staff Inflatable Costume Race!
WHAT: Husky Hustle is our annual fitness fundraiser and fun for all. Students will have the opportunity to get outside with their class to “Race the Bases” against staff and volunteers - all while raising money for our school. Every student will receive a medal to take home for participating!
WHEN: Parents and guardians are welcome to come watch, but must stay outside the school gates, or you can Sign Up by 9/16 to help with a shift. To volunteer, you must be registered as at least a Level II Volunteer with CPS.

Preschool
- Homeroom 101 (AM) - 9:30-10:00 AM
- Homeroom 104 - 10:00-10:30 AM
- Homerooms 101 (PM), 102, 103 - 1:30-2:15 PM
Grades K-8
- Kindergarten - 10:00-11:00 AM
- 3rd-5th Grades - 10:30-11:30 AM
- 1st Grade - 11:00-12:00 PM
- 6th-8th Grades - 11:30-12:30 PM
- 2nd Grade - 12:30-1:30 PM
WHERE: Jahn play lot
WHY: We are raising money for our school while having fun together. Everyone gets to participate! Funds raised from the event could help cover programs not covered in our school budget, such as new books for the library, hallway furniture, water bottle fountains, field trips, and teacher and classroom supplies.
