While fall offers the traditional school picture appeal, spring portraits offer a more fun and laid-back approach. Our spring school picture day is Thursday, April 18th. Spring photos will be a prepay program only and information packets will be sent home.

On Friday, April 12th, the Jahn Pride Alliance is planning to host a Day of (No) Silence. The Day of (No) Silence is a nationwide student-led action where middle-school students are invited to take a vow of silence for an entire school day to bring attention to the name-calling, bullying and harassment experienced by LGBTQ+ youth in school.

This Thursday, April 4th, Jahn welcomes K-8 prospective families to an open house from 5 to 6 pm. Tour the school and get to know us! PreK families may join us on April 11th.

The window for preschool applications for the 2024-25 school year will open April 9th at 10am. We invite prospective families to meet our PreK teachers and tour classrooms via an open house on Thursday, April 11th from 4:30-5:30pm. We would love to have your child join our Jahn family!

Congratulations to our 5/6th basketball team who played in the championship game back in March and finished 2nd in the league! We are so proud of them and their cheer squad, especially for the great sportsmanship that they showed throughout the season.

Welcome to Quarter 4! Our school year is quickly moving forward. Before you know it, summer will be here. I hope your family had a wonderful Spring break. One that you were able to connect, reflect, and just enjoy quality time together.

We are excited to highlight middle school's partnership with the University of Chicago's To&Through Project. This partnership is an incredible opportunity for Jahn to put into practice a more equitable and responsive learning environment where our middle grades students can thrive.

The fine arts team is pleased to present our Spring Arts Showcase on March 21st, 2024 from 4:30-6:00 pm. The show will begin with a Visual Arts Showcase in the hallway displaying Preschool-8th Grade student work. The art walk will begin at 4:30pm and performances promptly at 5:15pm.
