We want to keep you informed and engaged as we move forward in the important process of selecting the next principal of Jahn School of Fine Arts.

Families, please join us on Wednesday, September 3rd, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm for this opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, as well as other members of the Jahn school community. Visit your student's classroom, learn about their day, ask questions, and explore the campus.

Jahn is fielding multiple First LEGO League (FFL) robotics teams this fall. Students in 4th to 8th grade who are passionate and committed to engineering, innovation, and teamwork should visit jahnschool.com/robotics to sign up by August 28.

On Tuesday, September 16th, an organization called The NED Shows will visit Jahn and hold an assembly in the auditorium for our K-8 students from 2:30-3:15 pm. They teach children how to be resilient and bounce back when they face challenges, and empower them to become champions in school and in life.

Friends of Jahn (FOJ) is ready to get the year started with our annual organizational meeting! This Wednesday, August 27th, we will meet to vote on board members, officer positions, and set the schedule for our monthly community meetings for the year. Learn more about us and how to get involved!

Help give our students hands-on calming tools and creative projects — from worry stones to affirmation bracelets — that build confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.

Help give our English Language Learner students resources to increase their fluency and writing skills in English by utilizing English as a Second Language games and setting up reading and writing centers in our resource room.

Week one? DONE! Let's keep the first week celebrations going with Popsicles on the Playground after school on Friday, August 22nd. Join Friends of Jahn from 3:30-4:30 pm on the playlot for a free treat and mix and mingle with other Jahn families.
