Do you have a 3rd-5th grade student who could benefit from some positive support and mentoring? Big Brothers Big Sisters is launching a partnership at Jahn and we are actively recruiting Jahn 3rd-5th graders who would be interested in this opportunity!

Registration has begun for a brand-new session which will start on Friday, January 13th. LVL is providing after-school, basketball instruction as part of the extra-curricular offerings for the students and parent community of Jahn. The objective of this program is to provide young players the perfect introduction to the game of basketball through fun and engaging instruction, while increasing knowledge of the sport.

In less than a week, we will say farewell to our first two quarters of learning. When I reflect on my Jahn experience thus far, I am overwhelmed with excitement. Who knew when I stepped on this campus that I would be embraced by enthusiastic students, a welcoming staff, and a warm community.

Spirit Week will be held the week of December 19th. Remember: No school for students on Friday. Happy Winter Break to all!

Please join us at the Jahn Artisan Market this Saturday, December 17th from 10am-2pm. Shop with professional local artisan vendors as well as our own Jahn arts student artisan sales. Enjoy caroling and open microphone performances. All are welcome to this public event!

Slice the price of pizza and help the 6th graders raise money for their legacy trip to Milwaukee by purchasing Domino's money cards. It's a great value for anyone who loves pizza!

The winter season brings out the best of our school's diversity and we would like to invite you to celebrate it with us!

Please support the 8th grade and come out to the Portillo's at 3343 W Addison Street on Thursday, December 15th from 5-8pm. We're headed to D.C. and need your help!
