Anti-Bullying Week is October 17-21

Jahn is hosting an Anti-Bullying Campaign the week of Monday, October 17th through Friday, October 21st. The theme at our school for the week and year ahead will include the slogan: "Be cool in our school, it's bully free and so are we." We ask that you take this opportunity to have meaningful conversations with your child or children about bullying.

First Parent Advisory Council Meeting

Looking for more ways to get involved at Jahn? The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a great place to start! PAC's Annual Principal and Organizational Meetings will take place back-to-back this Wednesday, October 19th starting at 8:15am in the Parent Room.

Volunteers Needed for THIS Weekend's Pumpkin Patch

Join us Saturday, October 15th from 10am-2pm for some fall fun. Volunteers are still needed for the second shift during the event. Sign up to help make the day a success and you'll be entered into a drawing to win an Amazon gift card as a thank you!

Hooray for the new playground!

You may have noticed that the playground is complete and open for our students to enjoy. We celebrated last Tuesday with a ribbon cutting with the first recess. Check out the smiles!

14th Annual Shop for Schools in Roscoe Village

On October 6-7th from 10am-8pm, shop at participating businesses for the 14th Annual Shop for Schools in Roscoe Village. Shop on your own time or join two opportunities to meet other Jahn parents and walk the shops.

Fall is in the air!  With the new school calendar, we have had the great opportunity of being in front of our students for over a month.

10th Annual Jahn Pumpkin Patch

Save the date for Saturday, October 15th from 10am-2pm on the Jahn playlot for some fall fun. Sign up for a volunteer shift to help make it a success!

School Fees

Our Local School Council approved student fees for this year of $75 per student (with a maximum of three students per family).  School fees will be used to cover supplies, books, and SEL activities.  Students in Pre-K are not required to pay fees, but can donate an amount, if they choose.
