I can’t believe it is almost December! As a reminder next week is fall break- our school will be closed the week of November 24th and classes will resume on Monday, December 1st.

Everyone loses things now and then. Has something of your child's gone missing? Look in Jahn's Lost & Found! Read more and you might just spot it! Unclaimed items will be donated after this week.

Do your holiday shopping at Building Blocks Toy Store any day next week, and 15% of your purchase will go to Jahn!

Giving Season is upon us, and to kick it off, we will be having a Thanksgiving Gift Card Drive the week before Thanksgiving break (November 17-21). Gift cards can be for essentials such as groceries and gas. All gift card donations can be dropped off in the main office with Ms. Margo and will be sent home with families within our school community.

Jahn launched their zero waste program in the lunchroom last week, on November 12th. See the difference we are making!!

Have questions about what Jahn's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is and how it can support your child? Come join us in the Parent Room on Wednesday, November 19th at 2pm!

There are some families at Jahn, along with our Jahn Sanctuary Team, that are working together for the safety and well-being of our community. In particular, we appreciate the hard work of our school’s parent volunteers for starting to organize so many of the following supports these past few weeks.

It’s time to begin the GoCPS High School Application Process for our 8th-grade students (and Academic Center applications for 6th–7th). Applications are due by 5:00 pm this Friday, November 14th. Schedule an appointment with Jahn's School Counselor, Ms. Torres, for one-on-one support.

Attention 2026-27 incoming kindergartners and new 1st-8th students! If you live outside Jahn's neighborhood boundary, you must apply through the GoCPS application process for the 2026-27 school year. The GoCPS application is open NOW through this Friday, Nov 14th, at 5 pm.
